Psychotherapy is a journey of self-exploration, self-discovery, and self-awareness. My approach centers around a belief in the healing and transformative power of mindfulness and awareness. With guidance and support, these ancient tools lead to freedom, joy, the manifestation of your natural talents and gifts, and your true voice. I offer a supportive, compassionate style and a strong, steady presence for our work together. I also skillfully and precisely challenge the emotional, cognitive, and behavioral patterns that keep you feeling stuck.

Our stubborn patterns may have served and protected us well in our past. However, these patterns are now, often, merely outdated, out of context, and/or out of proportion to the current situation: anxiety, dissociation, denial, aggression, defensiveness, passive-aggression, relationship problems. Our habitual patterns are requests for deeper attention to ourselves, to our bodies. In trusting the wisdom of the ongoing present moment, our experience is given the opportunity to speak, to teach what it has to offer. I support individuals in trusting their immediate experience, so that they may see the wisdom of their own patterns and realize their own innate capacity for growth, healing, insight, and transformation.
